James W. McCue, 39, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 5, 2015 with his family by his side. He was the loving husband of Lisa (Reimann) McCue. The couple married on September 30, 2000.

James was born on June 6, 1975 in Park Ridge, IL to Frank and Joyce (Krause) McCue. He spent the majority of his life in Boise, ID, attending Boise High School where he graduated from in 1993. James went on to attend Boise State University where he played with the Blue Thunder Marching Band. He worked as a supervisor at CenturyLink with co-workers that he considered true friends.

James was completely devoted to his family. It was with his loving family that he enjoyed trips to the outdoors and activities such as hiking and fishing. James was very adventurous and loved to travel with his family to different places. He was also an avid lover of music and enjoyed composing his own original pieces. James will be fondly remembered as an extremely kind person with an amazing sense of humor and an infectious smile. He was known as a generous, supportive, loyal and selfless man, especially when it came to his family and friends, and always acted with tremendous integrity.

In addition to his wife, James is survived by his two children: Aiden and Kenna McCue; his mother: Joyce McCue of Boise; one sister: Sally (McCue) Felton and husband Greg and their son Max of Meridian; one brother, Patrick McCue and wife Agnes of Denver, CO; and one brother-in-law Alan Reiman and wife Krysten and their three children Isaiah, Ezekiel and Emery of Brinnon, WA. James was preceded in death by his father.
