Devoted husband, loving father, and the world’s best grandpa, James Vincent Welsh, with family by his side, was taken to a better place on Thursday, March 13, 2014. Jim was born March 25, 1959 to Frank and Frances Welsh in Casper, Wyoming. He grew up in Utah where he met the love of his life, Cindy, when he was 16 years old. He and Cindy were parents to 3 amazing children. First came Jon, followed by Jamie, and then Patrick.
Jim was a thoughtful man who would bend over backwards to see you smile. He lived for the time he got to spend with his 3 grandchildren, Bella, 11; Lexi, 7; and baby Vinny, 1. In their eyes they had the best grandpa ever and if you asked him, he was the luckiest grandpa around.
He loved to make people laugh and had the ability to do that all the way thru his life. With his pockets full of candy and enough love to last a lifetime, there will never be a day that goes by that anyone’s life he touched will not be better because of it.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy Welsh; sons, Jon and Patrick Welsh; daughter, Jamie Welsh; daughter-in-law Monica Welsh; granddaughters, Bella and Lex; grandson, Vinny; sisters, Celeste Holtshouser, Kathleen Roy, Patricia Steiner, Susan Conway, Rosemary Chapman, and Mary Bourque; brothers, Timothy Welsh, Richard Welsh, Joseph Welsh, Daniel Welsh, and Robert Welsh; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceeded in death by his parents, Frank and Frances Welsh; and brothers, John Welsh and Frank Welsh.
