Mr. James “Jamie” Vaughn DeLay, age 51, of Osgood, Indiana, entered this life December 14, 1963 in Batesville, Indiana. James was preceded in death by his parents, Basil and Jerie DeLay and one sister, Jan Baker.
James had a great love for camping, boating and horseback riding with his family. He was also an avid fan of football and Nascar racing. One of his favorite things was chocolate milk shakes.
He is survived by three sons: Tyler, Justin and Conner, and the children’s mother, Tricia DeLay, all of Osgood. He is also survived by one sister and brother-in-law, John and Jodie Niemeyer of Palm City, Florida and one aunt and uncle: Keith and Terri Watson of Moore’s Hill, Indiana. Also surviving are numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by all.
