He was born in Brooklyn, NY on October 4th, 1956, the son of Howard and Hilda Mansfield.
On May 10th 1980, James married the love of his life, Linda. They showed their children and grandchildren what true love means, and were role models for how a marriage should be. They were married for 39 years before Linda sadly passed away.
James was the strongest man his family ever knew. Battling many illnesses over his life, and always doing it with a joke and a smile! He also was extremely proud of his many tattoos. He would show them off to everyone and anyone!
James leaves behind his four children, Sarah and her husband Benjamin Coulsey of Greenfield, James Jr and his wife Marisa Mansfield of Monroe Wisconsin, Erin Greene of Greenfield and Ashley and her husband William Duggan of Agawam; grandchildren, Benjamin Jr.
James was predeceased by his wife and his parents.
