James Victor Harper, 93, passed away Thursday, January 26, 2012 in California. Born, July 29, 1918 in Greensburg, he was the son of James and Junuetta (Boring) Harper. He had worked for General Motors and was a UAW member.
He was a veteran of the US Army. He was married to Laura A. Kendrick on July 3, 1942 and she preceded him in death on April 13, 2001. He is survived by four sons, James Harper, San Diego, Ca., Stephen Harper, San Diego, Ca., Russell Harper, Scottsboro, Al., Greg Harper, Hollister, Fl.; one daughter, Judith Harper, Indianapolis; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
