James Thomas Shifflette transitioned into rest on October 23, 2018 at Centra State Hospital after a long and courageous battle with Leukemia. He was a Warehouse Manager at Corning Manufacturers in Edison, NJ retiring in 2015. James was born on February 4, 1949 to the late Margaret Josephine Tilley and James Thomas Jessup of North Carolina.
He is survived by his fiancée and life partner Judy Geissler of Jackson, NJ; his two daughters Kelly Lynn of Vermont and Jodi Lee of New Jersey; his one sister Carol Shifflette and two beautiful grandchildren Ayla Grace and Nyah Lee of Vermont. He was a remarkable and devoted parent, grandfather and friend. He was an avid golfer and car enthusiast. He loved life with a passion and even though we will hold him in our hearts forever, he will be severely missed.
