Jim began his career as a Title Officer at Canyon Abstract over 30 years ago. He was committed to his work and always gave his best. He was well respected by all the people he worked with.
Jim married Dayle Higel on December 26, 1986, eight weeks after they met.
Jim and Dayle have two sons, Ian and Joseph, both of Caldwell. Ian and Joe were Jim’s greatest pride.
Jim was a wonderful soul – so patient, so open, so accepting. He loved his family and his friends and loved to share his memories with his sons.
Jim also loved animals, especially the ones that had a sad story. He may not have said yes at first, but any stray quickly became a part of the household.
Jim is survived by his wife, Dayle, and sons, Ian and Joseph; his parents, Don and Betty Winbigler; sister, Sally (Frank) Aspiri; brother, Todd (Angela) Winbigler; his aunt and uncle, Tom and Peggy Winbigler; many cousins, nieces and nephews; and many loving friends.
Jim was preceded in death by his grandparents, Homer & Iva Grice, and Thurlow & Edna Winbigler; and uncles, Jim and Joe Grice – two men who he truly admired and adored.
