James T. Haughan, age 18, of Geneva, passed away Friday, June 4, 2021 at Delnor Hospital in Geneva with his loving family by his side.
Jim was a sweet, loving boy with a big heart who was always placing others needs above his own. He graduated from Geneva High School in May of 2020 and had been a Scout in Packs 111/238 & Troop 37. Jim gave the best bear hugs and could light up a room with his smile and laughter. He aspired to be a voice actor, already having many accents and voices in his repertoire.
He is survived by his mother Elaine of Geneva; siblings Melissa (Matthew) Gaige of Hoffman Estates and Monica and Matthew both of Geneva; paternal grandmother Joyce of Riverside; maternal grandmother Carol Carter of Oak Park; and many other dear relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Robert, maternal grandfather Don Carter, and his father Michael who passed away in 2019.
