James T. Hagan, 81, born January 20, 1932 in Cleveland, Ohio son of Art and Mary Hagan, went to Heaven Saturday, April 20, 2013, peacefully with his family by his side. Survivors include his loving wife Celia Anne Hagan (Kearns) of 49 years; daughters Eileen Whitfield; Diane Volpe and husband Dominick. Maureen Comyns and husband Joe. His 5 grandchildren: Peyton, Spencer, Liam, Cooper, And Riley; sisters Mary Barrett and Betty Neary. He was preceded in death by his parents Art and Mary Hagan and siblings Jack, Arthur Jr., and William; son-in-law Timothy Whitfield.
James (Jimmy) and Shelia moved to Melbourne, Fl. in 2008. Jimmy served proudly and honorably as a Cleveland Fire Fighter for more than 30 years and was passionate about helping people. He was a Korean War Veteran in U.S.A.F. and was a very loving, sensitive and charismatic person who had incredible intelligence, knowledge, interests and abilities in so many areas. He knew how to draw people in and make a difference in their lives. He was loved and admired by everyone who knew him and would go out of his way to help them. We will truly miss his talkative personality and his caring heart.
