James Stephen Ray, age 53, of Garden City , AL, passed away to be with the Lord on June 2, 2012. He enjoyed painting in his spare time and served in the Gulf War during Desert Storm. He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Marie Ray. Left to cherish his memories is his Ex-Wife, Enriqueta Ray; daughter, Vanessa (Josh) Pitts; sons, Michael I. Ray and Craig Ray; father, James Aubrey Ray; brothers, David (Becky) Ray and Kenneth (Judy) Ray; grandchildren, Chloe Ray, Kobe Pitts, and Kellan Pitts; aunts, Hazel (Ed) Rock, Francis Layne; cousins, Stanley (Patti) Stricklin, Toni (Randy) Jones, Barbara (Mark) Poe; 16 nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
