Mr. James “Sonny” Gaglione ,age 71, of Milford, beloved husband of 49 years to Pamela LaVista Gaglione, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family, Saturday, September 26, 2009 at Connecticut Hospice in Branford. Son of the late James and Louise Didio Gaglione, he was born on April 23, 1938, in Bridgeport.
In addition to his beloved wife, survivors include his three children, Karen Uliano, James Gaglione Jr. and his wife Lori and Christopher Gaglione and his wife JaLyn; eleven grandchildren, Pam and Dennis Wade, Michael, Kara and Samantha Uliano, Jordan, Spencer, Alexandra, Christopher, Mitchell and Matteo Gaglione; two great grandchildren, Madison and Jameson and an expected great grandson; sister Patricia and Fred Bartalomy of CA; brother John and Irene Gaglione of Milford; sister-in-law Lizabeth and David Hart of IN and many nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by grandson, Kevin. Sonny was also loved by close friends, Bill and Marilyn Mintell, Diane Evans, Helen and John Iwasczyszyn, Jeanne Keller and Matthew Clark.
The family would like the express their gratitude to the nursing staff of Milford Hospital for the extraordinary care and concern given to James.
