James Russell “Jimmy” Moore, age 72, of Greensboro, Georgia, died Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at Legacy Health and Rehabilitation Center in Greensboro, GA. He was born August 15, 1945 in White Plains, GA to Elizabeth Eaton Moore of Greensboro, GA and the late Russell Osborne Moore. In 1963 he graduated from Greensboro High School. After high school he joined the United States Air Force and served his country during the Vietnam War.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Teasley Moore, on April 14, 2018. Survivors in addition to his mother, Elizabeth Moore of Greensboro, GA include a son, Zack Moore of Greensboro, GA,two brothers Kenneth Moore (Paula) and Ricky Moore (Pam) both of Greensboro, GA, his beloved dog, Paddy, and a number of other relatives and many friends.
