James Edward Rogers, age 88, passed away on Monday, June 4, 2007. Born in Wyoming, Illinois, he was the son of Frank Rogers and Agnes Youngberg Rogers. Mr. Rogers had been a farmer or many years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corp and a member of the Methodist Church. He spent most of his life in Pearland, Texas and had just recently moved to Boerne to be near his family. Preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Rose Rogers and his two brothers, Robert and Fred Rogers, James is survived by his son, James E. Rogers, Jr. and his wife, Jamie Chien-mei; daughter, Sherill Heaton and her husband, Eldon; grandchildren, Tani Tomlinson and her husband John, and Stacey Stephan and her husband Chad; great grandchildren, Kristen and Amber Tomlinson and Sophie and Ayla Stephan; and his brother, Frank Rogers.
