Jim was the son of Richard Rogers and Margaret (Fillebrown) Rogers Baker, and his late step-father Earle Baker. He was the loving brother of Richard Rogers, Susan Tillman, Jayne and Paul McMahon, Jeff Northrop, and the late Kathy Northrop, as well as many nieces and nephews, and his beloved dogs, Bodacious and in Methuen, James graduated from Plymouth-Carver High School, class of 1977. After graduating he joined the United States Navy for two years. He was hired by Comm Electric and after 15 years he joined the IBEW Local 104 in Rhode Island. Jim was an avid sports fan of hockey, basketball, baseball, boat racing, and car racing but the New England Patriots and football were his favorites. He enjoyed music, riding his motorcycle, the Point in Plymouth and stopping by the club for “one”. But most of all he loved his friends and family, and would do anything for anyone of the many.
