Jim McCain, 65, passed away suddenly on Sunday, March 20, 2022. Jim recently retired to Marathon, Florida, where he fulfilled his lifelong dream of living on his boat, the Salty Dog.
Jim was born on June 25, 1956 in Sagamihara, Japan. He is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth Pozos; stepchildren, Luke (Amber) Stigler, and Amanda Young; mother, Jo-Ann Flynn; sisters Paula Seitz and Jean (Michael) Wren and brothers John McCain and Joseph McCain. Jim leaves behind grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Paul McCain and brother Michael “Mouse” McCain.
Long-time co-owner of McNDT Pipeline, Ltd., Jim worked as the responsible Level 3 for many years where he mentored many nondestructive testing technicians.
