James Robert Faulkiner, 63, of Shinnston, passed away on August 3, 2011. He was born April 2, 1948, the son of the late James Polk Faulkiner and Marie Fowler Faulkiner. He is survived by his wife; Frankie Davisson Faulkiner, two sons; Chris Faulkiner and his wife Anna and Richard Faulkiner and his wife Kristi, one brother; John Faulkiner and his wife Joyce, two sisters; Elizabeth Stokes and her husband Dewayne and Kathy Nutter and her husband Jack, two step daughters; Melissa Sleeth and her husband Kenneth and Angie Lane and her husband Jason, four acquired sons; Daniel Ice, Tony Bellotte, Brock Crabtree and Greg Akers, a brother in law; Michael Matteson, a sister in law; July Muhl and her husband John, three grand daughters; Sierra, Kendra and Lilly, two grand sons; Wade and Christopher, several nieces and nephews, a grand dog; Sukie and his beloved pet; Lacy. He was preceded in death by his first wife; Nancy Matteson Faulkiner, and one sister; Virginia Hupp. Mr. Faulkiner was a U.S. Army veteran and was retired from Lockheed Martin. He enjoyed cooking, fishing and hunting.
