Dr. James Robert Alexander Jr., 79 of Toms River, formerly of Keyport, Morganville and Howell passed away Friday June 16, 2023 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was a Chiropractor for over 50 years initially practicing with his father Dr. James Alexander and his brother Dr. Richard Alexander in Keyport NJ, then in sole practice in Hazlet NJ until retirement in 2016.
James is predeceased by his parents; James Sr., Virginia (Styers) Alexander and brothers Richard and Larry Alexander. He is survived by his loving wife Paula, adored children; Jaynnelle Linder and husband Tony of Ireland, Jeanette Sims of Tampa, James R. Alexander III of Manahawkin, Scott Alexander of East Brunswick, Paulette Leander of Jackson, Sheryl Hagedorn of Englishtown and Julie Palmer of Jackson. His sister Susan Monteforte. James also leaves his 8 cherished grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by all that loved him and all the lives his healing hands have touched.
