James Richard “Rick” Lantz, age 61, of Taylor County, Valley Falls Community, passed away Monday, June 27, 2011, at his residence. He was born in Clarksburg, WV, September 23, 1949, a son of the late Sidney Arley “Sid” and Helen (Whitehair) Lantz. Rick was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was an avid gardener and loved to hunt and fish. Surviving are: one daughter, Betsy Kreeger and husband Matt , of Grafton; two brothers, Gary Lantz and wife Wanda, of Grafton, Sidney “Sonny” Lantz and wife Linda of Grafton; two sisters, Sarah Nedorolik and husband Charles , of Virginia, and Jeannie McCloy and husband Bill, of Grafton; three grandchildren who he adored, Aliena, Jacob, and Sierra, of Grafton.
