James Richard “Dick” Miller 73, of Indianapolis, died peacefully at home on April 10, 2014. Dick was born on November 4, 1940, to Hazel and Elwood Miller. After graduating from Beech Grove High School, he proudly served in the United States Navy. He was employed at International Harvester and Eli Lilly and Company.
Dick is survived by his wife of 51 years, Jo Ann. She, his daughter, Donna Miller and Marc Vanderpool lovingly cared for Dick in his final months. Other survivors include his sister; Donna (Jimmy) Hughes, his brother; Roger (Angeline) Miller and his granddaughter, Jessi Miller. Dick was preceded in death by his son, Jim.
