James Roger Ashcraft, 16, of New Carlisle, Indiana died Saturday afternoon, February 21, 2009 from injuries sustained in an automobile train accident. Jimmy was born June 29, 1992 in LaPorte, Indiana to Christina “Tina” Foltz and James Ashcraft. He was a 9th grader at New Prairie High School. Jimmy enjoyed working on cars, spending time hunting and fishing, 4 wheeling, and he liked Harley Davidson Motorcycles.
Survivors include his mother, Tina and Jim MacIsaac of North Judson, Indiana; father, James Ashcraft of New Calisle, Indiana; sister, Martha Jane Ashcraft of Londen, Kentucky; brother, Nicholas Anthony Ashcraft of New Carlisle; grandparents, Rex and Carol Ashcraft of Three Oaks, Michigan; Delores and Jay Stackhouse of Rochester, Indiana and Sherry and Ralph Chessor of North Judson; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Roger and Evelyn Foltz.
