James (Pop’s) Leland Carlock, age 75, of Maddox Chapel Rd in Dalton, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2015. He was born on December 17, 1939. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Albert and Effarine Carlock; and sisters, Eloise Russo, Billy Jean Carlock and her twin brother Clyde Carlock, and brother, Harold Carlock.
He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Leslie and Diane Carlock of Dalton, Johnny and Lori Bishop (Carlock) of Chatsworth; daughter and son-in-law, Deanna and Terry Rogers of Crandall; grandchildren, Jason Rogers, Alicia Partin, Tiffany Penn, Brittany Carlock, Johnathon Bishop and Chasity Ray, Renee Green, Monique Clark and Tyler Millsap; 7 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Calvin and Brenda Carlock of Eton, Jackie and Juanita Carlock of Dalton; sisters and brother-in-law, Wanda Blankenship of Chatsworth, Sandra and Roger Pittman of Crandall; special friends, Geraldine Bedwell and Michelle Johnson; nieces and nephews also survive.
