James “Jimmy” Phillip Perez, 25, of Newnan, GA, formerly Richmond Hill, GA passed away Friday, March 17, 2017 in Newnan, GA surrounded by his family. He was born August 24, 1991 in Sandusky, Ohio. Jimmy was a devoted husband, father and son. He committed his life to God, his family and to his career. Jimmy and Cynthia Perez were married on April 1, 2016. Jimmy’s love for his family was evident by the smile he wore every day, an unforgettable smile that could truly light up any room. He was an Advanced Firefighter with the Savannah Fire Department and served seven years as a volunteer with the Richmond Hill Fire Department. Jimmy is survived by his wife, Cynthia Wood Perez; children, Caydence & Christian Gray; mother, Dawn Gagne Poole; father, George (Kimberly) Perez; siblings, Eric (Kelly) Lopez, Kristin (Ben) Rosenfeld, Jack Perez, Blakeley (Jimmy) Vinicky, and Sarah Roberts; grandparents, nieces, a nephew, aunts, uncles and cousins. His stepfather, Richard Poole, preceded him in death.
