James Paul Ward was born on March 22, 1974, to James Ward Sr. and Deborah Puckett in Morgan County, Alabama. He departed this life on July 6, 2017.
He attended school in Morgan County. He was self-employed as a carpenter and he also worked with scrap metal and worked as an auto mechanic. He loved his family, nieces and nephews. He was a good-hearted guy and would help anybody.
He was married to Terra Ward Fisher. Jamie had one child, Ashtyn Schrimsher.
He was preceded in death by one infant child.
He leaves to cherish his memory: a son, Ashtyn Schrimsher of Decatur; a brother, Robbie Ward (Christine Landers) of Athens; a sister, Tracey Terry (Anthony Deloney), Kela McDonald of Decatur; three nieces, Charmaine, Jessica and Kayla; two great-nieces, Diamond and Trinity; two great-nephews, DeMarcus and Cameron; and a host of other relatives and friends.
