James Patrick Cahill (Jim) of West Chester passed away peacefully on June 29th at Paoli Hospital after losing his battle with lung cancer. He was a devoted and loving husband of 52 years to his wife Linda (nee Kennedy). He is survived by brother in laws Gene Kennedy, Ron Kennedy, Peter Kennedy, and a numerous number of loving nieces and nephews.
He has been a member of the National Ski Patrol for over 25 years and had a 32-year career with Metropolitan Life. He is an Air Force veteran.
His favorite place on earth is Schull, a small fishing village in the southwest tip of Ireland. He lived there for a time as a child and again as a young teenager. He had 46 trips there in his lifetime.
