Attorney James P. Hentz, 50, of Upton, died Sunday, July 2, 2017 after he collapsed while walking. He was the husband of Yara Hentz and father to Annabelle and Kiki.
Born in Ft. Bragg, NC, the son of James D. and Patricia N.
An eight-year resident of Upton and previously of Bellingham, he was a former president of the Upton Men’s Club, a member of the United Chamber of Commerce in Worcester, the Worcester Property Owners Association, Sigma Phi Epsilon Alumni, and a former member of the Bellingham Conservation Commission. He was an ardent fan of FSU sports.
In addition to his wife of 20 years and his parents, Jim leaves two daughters, Annabelle Leigh and Kiara Rae Hentz of Upton; a sister
(-in-law), Jazmin Valianti and her husband Michael of Upton; three aunts, Panama Juarez and her two sons Rogelio and Juan Pablo, Claire Childress, and Carol Ann Young; two brothers, David M. Hentz and his wife Elizabeth of Atlanta, GA, and John D. Hentz and his wife Robin of Tallahassee, FL; and nine nieces and nephews, Shane, Jade, and Preston Dougherty of Upton, Eric and Matthew Valianti of Mendon, Stuart and Gregory Hentz of Atlanta, and Blair and Johnny Hentz of Tallahassee.
