James Oliver “Bud” Walker, 93, of Iona, passed away August 30, 2014, in Idaho Falls. Bud was born June 25, 1921, in Idaho Falls to Albert and Amy Lundburg Walker. He attended schools in Idaho Falls, graduating from Iona High School. Bud gave up a full-ride scholarship to the University of Idaho to fight in World War II, where he was a sharp shooter on the Marine Raider’s special-forces team.
