Muirhead, James W. Muirhead, age 56, of Bridgeport, beloved husband, of Barbara Bisch Muirhead, died July 6, 2005 in Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Bridgeport to the late James and Doris Baughn Muirhead he was a lifelong resident. A marine veteran during the Vietnam War, he was also a member of the V.F. W. Mr. Muirhead was employed with Sikorsky Aircraft for the past twelve years, prior to this he was a mason for Carpenter Steel. He was a graduate of Harding High School. In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children, Leslie Tyrrell of Oxford, MA, Betsy Guedes of Trumbull, Katie Machin of Staten Island and Jaime Muirhead of Stratford, two sisters, Doris Fraser and Jan Hedrick, both of Cheshire, four grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
