James Ray Moss Jr., age 73, of Trussville, passed away February 1, 2013. He was previously employed with the Bendix Corporation, Sioux Tools, Carborundum Grinding Wheel Company and the City of Trussville. Ray was a Shriner, Zamora Temple, was director of several units and loved interacting with people. Later he owned and operated Sassy’s Homemade Ice Cream at Pepper Place and Doggie Diner at Railroad Park. Ray was preceded in death by his parents James Ray Sr. and Maude Moss, son Kenneth Moss.
