James “Jim” Morgan Rueb, born December 28, 1950, passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2015. He is the beloved son of Amy Husser Rueb and the late Captain Chester Joseph Rueb, Sr. He will be sorrowfully missed by his brother, Chet Rueb (Beverly) and sister, Jennifer Rueb. James is preceded in death by his sister, Dianne Rueb Lopreore. He has two nephews Brian Rueb (Margarita) and Chris Lopreore and two nieces Melissa Rueb Duhe (Barry) and Courtney Lopreore. James grew up in the Gentilly area of New Orleans and was a graduate of the 1968 class of John F. Kennedy High School. He served four years in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. For over forty years James lived in Orange County, California. He is leaving behind a host of friends who will miss him dearly. Jim touched the lives of many people on his journey. Whether he was a father figure, a soul mate, a neighbor, or a casual friend, he left footprints of love in their hearts.
