James Michael Turner (Jim), 72, passed away on August 22,2022 in Lakeland Florida. He was the husband of Patricia Beres-Turner.
Born in Columbus, Ohio, he was the son of Agnes and Harry Turner. He attended St Mary’s Catholic School. He was employed at Big Bear Stores for 37 years.
He served as a Corporal in the United States Marine Corp as a M-14 marksman.
He is survived by Patricia Beres-Turner, children Jamie(Erik)Kyre, Jessie Rawlins, Brooke Turner, grandchildren Tyler, Emma, Amanda, Ethan, great grandchild Skyla, brothers Harry(Melody), Bob(Colleen), Pat(Judi), brothers-in-law Bob Yates, David Beres(Mark Sneath), sisters-in-law Shirley Beres, Denise Beres, Marcia Beres(Heidi Good), Sharon Beres Walls (Jeff), Amy Beres. He was predeceased by Agnes and Harry Turner, Mary Jo Yates, Michael Turner.
Beloved by many other family members, friends, coworkers and neighbors.
Pat and Jim would say to each other nightly that they loved one another and Jim would reply “see you next year” and Pat would reply “pretty much so”.
