Mr.James Michael Taunton, of Lanett, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2014,at his residence.
Survivors include his wife, Faye Taunton of Lanett; sons, Jimmy Robert Campbell and David Lee Campbell of Lanett and Michael Odell Campbell of Beulah; 5 grandchildren; sisters, Louise Askew of Lanett and Anita Moon of Crawfordville. FL and brothers, Dwayne Taunton and Johnny Taunton of Lanett. Mr. Taunton was preceded in death by his parents, John Walker Taunton and Grace L. Morris Taunton and his grandchild Justin Bruce Jones.
Mr. Taunton was born December 8, 1951 in Alabama. He loved fishing, hunting and riding dirt roads. He worked for 30 years at Smoker Craft in LaGrange, Georgia and also worked at the Lanett Bleachery and Dye Works.
