James Michael “Mike” Morgan, 65 of Whiteland passed away Sunday at his home. He was born October 22, 1949 to George and Shirley (Johnson) Morgan in Louisville, Kentucky.
Mike retired from American Art Terrazzo and Tile after some 40 years and was a union member of Local 4 Bricklayers. He was a coach and mentor for Greater Clark Pleasant Middle School Football, Bantam Football, Little League Baseball and youth basketball for many years. Mike love spending time with his grandchildren, riding his Harley and keeping Coors Light in business.
He is survived by his wife Margaret Fuquay Morgan of Whiteland, two daughters, Michele Marie Morgan and Renee Morgan both of Louisville, Kentucky, two sons, Joshua Michael (Jessi) Morgan of Baltimore, Maryland, and Kyle Matthew (Jordan) Morgan of Whiteland, brother, George (Connie) Morgan of Owensboro, Kentucky, two sisters; Theresa (Mark) Norman of LaGrange, Kentucky and Debbie Germain of Florida, three grandchildren, Dani Michele Beard, Mila Quinn Morgan and Henry Jaymes Morgan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Shirley Morgan and his step-father Avery Wilson.
