James Manix

James Manix, 86, of Valparaiso, Fl passed away peacefully at home on May 6, 2013.
He was born on June 22, 1926 to Amos and Jessie Manix. James served in the USMC for a few years before joining the USAF. After serving 24 years in the USAF, he retired as a Major. He then went on to teach in Okaloosa County for 16 years. After teaching, he was a tester for ASVAB and a realtor for 16 years.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Evelyn Manix; daughter, Kim (Larry) Mott; grandchildren, Blake, Chandler, Morgan, and Taylor; three other children from a previous marriage, Mike, Marc, and Dean of CA; and several other grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter from a previous marriage, Jan.
