He is survived by his loving wife, Olga Maldonado (nee Correa); cherished children, Esmeralda Emi, Alex, James and Angelina Angie dear grandchildren Ashley, Olga, Andre, Destiny, Mark, James, Nathan, Jerry, Giovanni and Ayana; caring mother Angelina; fond siblings Selma, Haydee, Daniel, Edwin, Orlando and Jeanette; kind son-in-law Luis DeJesus and daughter-in-law Mary Lou. James was preceded in death by his father, Luis Maldonado and his brothers, David and Fernando.
James was a loving uncle to all his nieces and nephews and a great friend to all. James married the love of his life, Olga, on April 18, 1987.
