JAMES M. LOSCHER        

James M. Loscher, 91,of Boiling Springs, passed away Friday, February 2, 2018 at Cumberland Crossings, Carlisle.

Born May 22, 1926 in  Mechanicsburg, he was the son of the late Arthur E. and Bessie (Patterson) Loscher.  He was the widower of Lois (Meloy) Loscher, who died July 3, 2015.

Mr. Loscher retired from the former Ships Parts Control Center, Mechanicsburg. After retiring he was a school bus driver for South Middleton School District and also a Meter Reader for South Middleton Twp. Municipal Authority.

Jim honorably served his country in the U S Navy during World War II. 

He was a member of Mechanicsburg Presbyterian Church.  He had been a former Cubmaster for Pack 171, Boiling Springs and was a former Treasurer of the Mt. Holly Springs Twilight Baseball Team.  Jim loved woodworking and matting and framing pictures.

He was preceded in death by two brothers;  Arthur P. and Paul Loscher and a sister;  Carol Walter.

Surviving are two daughters:  Kathy Anderson (husband Robert) of New Bloomfield and Nancy Diehl (husband Randy) of Boiling Springs; a son:  David Loscher of Connecticut;  Grandchildren:  Scott and Brent Anderson, Kristen Getic, Matthew and Brian Diehl, Eric, Marissa and Kimberly Loscher; 9 Great Grandchildren: Lydia, Joshua and Elaina Anderson,Landon and Reid Getic, Ashton and Aiden Diehl, Alexander and Olivia Diehl; a sister:  Phyllis Fry of Mechanicsburg and a brother-in-law, Clarence Walter of Mechanicsburg.
