James M. “Big Jim” Williams, 78, of Rt. 2 Bristol, WV, died Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at the Golden Circle Nursing Home. He was born on June 24, 1931 at Shirley, WV, a son of the late Claude “Yank” Williams and Rebecca Costilow Williams. He was married to Norma Jean Ash Williams who preceded him in death.
Surviving are son, Steve Williams and his wife, Dorothy, Lost Creek and daughter, Vicki Ann Williams, Berea, OH; grandchildren, Cory Williams and Linnzi Williams; stepgrandchildren, Kip, Jason and Kenny Hall; great grandchildren, Stevie, Sabra, Kip, Corey, Lauryn, Adreanna, Ethan and Alyssa Hall and one brother, Clarence “Tinker” Sperry.
Preceding Mr. Williams in death were great grandson, Ryan Williams; stepmother, Mildred Williams and brother, Lawrence Sperry.
