James Lowell Williamsen
James L. Williamsen, 82, passed away on September 11, 2016. He was born May 22, 1934 in Ogden the son of Anna Bernice Barnes and Jack Raynard Williamsen.
He attended Ogden City schools and graduated from Ogden High; he also attended Weber State College.
James married Bernita Afton Blackburn on November 20, 1953; they were married 35 years when she passed away January 5, 1988. He married JoAnn Ross on July 27, 2008. James spent 26 years in Liberty, Utah and the last 25 years in Farr West.
He enjoyed cross word puzzles, horseback riding and horse racing.
James is survived by his wife, JoAnn; children, Karen W. White, Daniel J. Williamsen, Annette W. Freeman, Kenneth F. Williamsen and Janet W. Whetton; 25 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren and a brother Howard D. Williamsen.
The family would like to give special thanks to Jim Hill a neighbor and the Hospice nurses, aides and doctor.
