James “Jim” Louis Whitener, age 69, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Wednesday December 1, 2021. He was born on October 11, 1952. He is a retired master carpenter. He was preceded in death by his father, Ecell Whitener and his mother Nida Hope Whitener.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Sheila Whitener of Dalton; daughters, Lori and Billy Calhoun of Dalton and Candra Lynn Whitener of Dalton; grandchildren, Gracie Calhoun, Matt Pittman, Shawn Davis. A memorial service to celebrate the life of James Louis Whitener will be held at a later date.
