James Louis “Jimmy” Waldrop, 82, of Moulton, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2022 at his home.
Born on July 27, 1940 to James and Doris Little Waldrop, Jimmy loved working on cars and racing cars and riding his Harley with his friends. A graduate of Lawrence County High School, he was a member of Liberty United Methodist Church for many years.
Survivors include his wife Ann Coffey Waldrop of 62 years; children, Debbie (Tim) Blankenship, David Waldrop; grandchildren, Brooke Waldrop (Chad)Fike, David Louis Waldrop, II, Amanda Fagan (Steven) Pruitt, Summer Blankenship, and Shelly Blankenship; great-grandchildren, Aiden Johnson, Samantha Waldrop, Jayden James Fike, Ty Kerby, Thomas Kerby, Noé Liles; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Jimmy is preceded in death by his father, James Waldrop; mother, Doris Waldrop; and sister, Joyce Wallace.
The family extends special thanks to Enhabit Hospice and especially to his nurse, Ally Baugh and HHA Marilyn Bell.
