James Louis Klyczek, age 60, of Steger, Illinois, owner of Nature’s Way Taxidermy, died suddenly on Tuesday, July 13, 2021.  Beloved husband of Julie Klyczek.  Loving father of Alyssa Klyczek.  Dear brother of John (late Angie) Klyczek and brother-in-law to Richard (late Cheryl) Pica.  Cherished nephew of Uncle Bob (late Angie) Klyczek, Aunt Sharon Hogeveen, and Aunt Florence J. Poggi.  Uncle to several nieces and nephews.  Jim was preceded in death by his parents Rosalie and John Klyczek, his sister Cheryl Pica, his sister-in-law Angela Klyczek, and his aunt Angie Klyczek.

Jim was a resident of Steger his entire life.  He ran a successful taxidermy business for 42 years; he was a true artist and could make any mount, bird, or fish seem alive.  Jim loved to fish with his two fishing buddies, his brother John and his uncle Bob, and would always try to go at least twice a week.  His greatest love was his daughter, Alyssa.

He stood tall next to her through all her accomplishments.  He drove thousands of miles to attend every softball game she played and spent countless hours throwing balls back and forth with her.  Jim will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
