TOMAK, James Lee went to be with the Lord, Tuesday afternoon, April 2, 2013 after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s. Lee was born December 13, 1938, in Battle Creek, MI the son of Donald and Madeline Corwin Tomak.
Prior to his retirement, he was employed with General Motors as a foreman for 30 years. Lee loved the Lord and was a member of the Pathfinder Church formerly Portage First United Methodist and enjoyed all sports, especially golf, basketball, and baseball. On September 7, 1958, he was united in marriage to his loving wife, the former Jacqueline Nower, who survives. Also, surviving are his children, Kenneth Chris Tomak, and Karen Kevin Musick; 4 grandchildren, Heather BJ Kuperus, Michael Tomak, Kristin, and Kaitlyn Musick; 2 great-grandchildren, Seth and Paige; 2 brothers, Ronald Glenda Tomak, and Edward Vicki Tomak; and several nieces and nephews. Lee was preceded in death by his parents; and a daughter, Kathryn Tomak.
