James L. Tisdale, 74, Frankton, died August 8, 2003 at Community Hospital, Anderson after an extended illness.
He was born January 30, 1929 in Winslow, Indiana, and resided in Frankton, Indiana. He lived in this area for 19 years. He retired from the Anderson Herald-Bulletin Newspaper in 1992 as a pressman after 30 years of service. He also worked at the Old Times before becoming the Indianapolis Star.
He served his country in the US Army. He enjoyed fishing, racing, Big Band music, gardening and planting flowers. He enjoyed baseball, basketball, football and his grandson, Gavin. He loved Ford Model A Cars.
He is survived by his Three Children: Ramona Rose Smith of Anderson. Jennifer L. & husband Mark Husby of Frisco, Texas. James Lee Tisdale Jr. & wife Rachael of Yorktown. Judy Cubal of Indianapolis. Charles Heacock of Tennessee. Rita McKinney of Evansville. Grandchildren: Sarah Melinda Anderson of Anderson. Cathy Lou Anderson of Anderson. Samantha Rose Smith of Anderson. Britney Hiatt of Muncie. J.R. Andrews of Texas. Morgan Husby of Texas. Gavin Tisdale of Yorktown. Two Great Grandchildren: Olivia & Tyree. Special Friend: Debbie Toliver.
He was preceded by his Wife of 51 years: Ethel L. Harry Tisdale in 2002. Sister: Joan Heacock.
