James L. Priest, 90, of Anderson, passed away on December 11, 2021, at Community Hospital of Anderson. He was born on October 26, 1931, in Anderson, the son of Orville N. and Bonnie (Ulery) Priest.
Jimmy attended Anderson Community Schools. He had worked in the music industry since the age of 21, having entertained all over the United States. To Jimmy, it wasn’t a job, it was a way to make people smile and be happy.
He is survived by his loving wife, whom he married, June 25, 1977, Judy (Berg) Priest; sister, Sally (Richard) Counceller); sister’s and brother-in-laws; and several nieces and nephews.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents; son, Michael N. Priest; 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
