James L. McMahon, 85, of Silver Ridge Park West section of Berkeley Twp., NJ, passed away Friday, April 5, 2019 at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Born in New Providence, NJ, he lived in Sterling, NJ before moving to Berkeley Twp. 20 years ago. James retired in 1998 as a Supervisor for the Long Hill Twp. Public Works, Long Hill, NJ after 30+ years of service.
He was a United States Army Veteran. James was predeceased by his wife, Colleen, in September 2018. Surviving are his two children, Darlene McMahon of Hampton, NJ and James McMahon of Berkeley Heights, NJ, a brother Walter McMahon of New York and six grandchildren.
