James Louis Sauro Jr., ‘Jimmy the plumber’, of Woodbridge, beloved husband to Sandra (Brown) Sauro, passed away on March 14th after a courageous battle with cancer. James was one of five children born in New Haven July 17, 1953 to the late James L. Sauro Sr. and Mary Margaret Confrey Sauro. Besides his wife, he leaves behind his sons James L. Sauro III (Graciela) and Thomas W. Sauro; his brother Brian T. (Mary), and his sisters, Kathleen H. Brouillette (Larry), and Christine R. Sauro Padin. He was predeceased by his sister, Joy A. Sauro Wardwell.
James was a hard and dedicated worker. Striving for perfection, he would always take pride in his work. He was an inspiration and role model to many in the plumbing and heating industry and was highly respected by his clients, as well as his peers.
