Muncie – James L.
Jim was born in North Grove on April 11, 1931, the son of John Loren and Elva Mae (Claspell) Wagner, and was a 1949 graduate of Selma High School.
Mr. Wagner worked for thirty-three years as a grinder with Borg-Warner until his retirement in 1993.
Survivors include his wife Beverly Hoyt Wagner, Muncie; three children, David Wagner, (wife-Janet), Muncie, Kris Clevenger, (husband-Phil), Muncie, and Jo Walker, (husband-Rick), Muncie; a brother, Gerald Wagner, (wife-Millie), Muncie; a sister-in-law, Phyllis McGunegill, Selma; six grandchildren, Wednesday Wagner, (Kelly), Wilmington, Delaware, Benjamin Wagner, (wife-Angie), Albany, Summer Jones, Muncie, Kevin Clevenger, (wife-Anna), Indianapolis, Keely Clevenger, Avon, and Heather Stanley, Anderson; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and his faithful dog, Linus.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 48 years, Joan (Mansfield) Wagner; and a brother, Robert “Bob” McGunegill.
