James L. Donahue of Plympton, passed away at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth on May 26, 2021 at the age of thirty-seven. James was born in Quincy on May 7, 1984. He was the beloved son of Robert and Maureen (Swanton) Donahue of Plympton; loving grandson of Jean Donahue of Milton; cherished brother of Michael Donahue and his finance Kim Hartgrave of Missouri, Brian Donahue and his wife Elizabeth Cullen of Boston, Thomas Donahue of Plympton and his sister Jessica Donahue also of Plympton. He leaves his Niece and Goddaughter, Kenzie Donahue of Missouri as well as many uncles, aunts, cousins and extended family. James enjoyed baseball, going to the casino, model cars and trucks. He was proud to earn his CDL and was particularly proud of taking first place in a father/son duo truck driving competition for St Jude’s. He loved riding his motorcycle until six years ago when he was in an accident, which left him disabled. His disability led him to become an advocate for ADA compliance.
