KINANE – James Kinane, passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2015. He was the loving husband of Kathy (Lakness) Kinane for 40 years. Born September 6, 1947 in Brooklyn, NY; the son of Irene (Hardy) Kinane and the late James Kinane. He was a graduate of MSGR. McClancy High School in Queens, NY. He earned his BA in Economics from Florida Atlantic University and was employed by the State of Connecticut as an Auditor. Jim loved music, traveling and camping. He was a New Hartford resident for 33 years. He also enjoyed Scouting and sports with his sons and was a member of the New Hartford Rec. Soccer Board. In addition to his wife, he leaves his sons, Mike Kinane and wife Janet and Steve Kinane; two brothers, Daniel and Michael; and sisters, Virginia Cirillo, Margaret Cantieri, Irene Gagliardi and Patricia Kinane. He was predeceased by two brothers, William and Joseph and sister, Helen.
