Mr. Kenny Coggin died on Saturday, August 25, 2012, at his home. Kenny was born on January 31, 1943, in Newnan Georgia to the late Sara Florine Ferrell Coggin and George Harold Coggin. He graduated from Campbell High School in Fairburn. Kenny was a man of many talents and a master of restoring classic cars. Kenny began his working days at Eastern Airlines. All of his spare time was spent working on cars and building his business, Classic Station Body Works. Outside of his family and Church, his biggest passions were restoring cars, gardening and aviation. His greatest adventure was flying a small airplane from Newnan to Alaska. His last project was restoring a 1946 Mercury Woodie Wagon. He will always be remembered for his sense of humor and his colorful commentary of life. Kenny was an active member of the Newnan Presbyterian Church and served as a deacon and elder. He is survived by his wife Susan and children Kerrie and Kenny Bourgeois of Ocala, Florida; Payton and Terri Coggin of Newnan; Kacy and Judi Coggin of Knoxville, Tennessee; and Jason and Sherri Coggin of Knoxville; Tennessee; grandchildren Kenny Bourgeois, Mitchell Bourgeois, Sydney Bourgeois, Callie Coggin, Reeves Coggin, Maggie Coggin and Cash Coggin; brother Doug and Melody Coggin of Macclenny, Florida and sister Peggy and Ron Schuster of Newnan, GA.
