James D. ‘Junior’ Fish, 76, of Odon, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at his home. He was born on October 23, 1946 in Elnora, Indiana to James D. ‘Delmar’ and Clara B. (Edmondson) Fish, Sr. Junior married his loving wife, Barbara (Malone) Fish on June 15, 1968.
Junior was on the Elmore Township Advisory Board. He was a farmer and had received a Farming Conservation Award for his farming conservation efforts. Junior also drove a truck for Altress Trucking for the Mail Route. He enjoyed eating breakfast with his buddies, watching NASCAR and he loved going to tractor pulls.
Family left to cherish the memories of Junior include: his wife, Barbara Fish; two daughters, Melinda Jo ‘Mindy’ (Greg) Orschell of Brookville, IN and Kristina Kae Fish of Odon; grandchildren, Joshua (Kayla), Jacob, and Jenna Orschell, all of Brookville; and great-granddaughter, Rylee Orschell.
Junior was preceded in death by: his parents; sister, Patricia Louann Wade; brothers, Donald Fish, Darrell Fish and David Fish.
